UNSCHARF – Generative Lamp & Packaging

Inspired by the quantum‑physics concept of uncertainty and Schrödinger’s thought experiment, this project asks: what if a product’s final form remained “blurry” until the moment of unboxing? Using AI‑assisted generative modelling and additive manufacturing, a lamp is designed as a unique one‑off object. The packaging mirrors its fluid organic shapes and hints at the contents through translucent plexiglass panels. Each package can be 3D‑printed and reused, turning a mass‑produced item into a personalised, collectible piece that encourages consumers to value and preserve everyday objects.
